1920 's Nuvolari 's team mate Luigi Arcangeli... he had already won in 1924 the motor car (F1) Circuito del Lario. The following year he won the Giro d'Italia motorcycle with a "Bianchi" 350. In 1926 with a Guzzi 500 he was second behind Varzi at the Grand Prix of Nations in Monza and on the same circuit he set several world speed records. In 1927 he was second in the legendary "Tourist Trophy" on the Isle of Man. The future 'Lawrence of Arabia' had become a fan of Archangels seeing him run on the Rimini circuit, since he was in Romagna under a false name as a British secret agent! By car Arcangeli won again in 1928 in Senigallia with the Bugatti T 35 C, and with the French Talbot on the Cremona circuit in front of Nuvolari! The successes also continued at the Maserati 8C-2500, with a first place at the Rome Grand Prix in 1930. The in the same year 1930, free from commitments with Maserati, joined the new team that bore the name of Enzo Ferrari with Alfa Romeo cars, and in the Italian Grand Prix Arcangeli was second behind Varzi by only two tenths of a second, setting a lap record at over 165 km per hour.Buyer gets: 2 rare Italian trade cards, sold as seen with faults - but these are his rookie cards  and they are immensely rare so they are priced accordingly.
