It's number is #305, made by Bunsen Confectionery, London - no doubt to honour Tilden's Wimbledon story.This exceedingly rare tennis card dates to summer 1921. Bunsen was an on-going series over two years, making over 600 numbered cards. The #300's were apparently issued in late 1921. Later numbers came in 1922.Even general interest cards which have no interest to collectors of today, by Bunsen, are rare but when it comes to the greatest men's tennis player ever, on a Bunsen card, it is stratospheric interest for tennis lovers and card collectors alike.
