From the 1930 's two very rare Kid Francis boxer cards, one from French gum & the other from a French coffee-substitute, chicory, sold as seen. Francesco Buonaugurio was his real name and he was the elder brother of fellow boxer Guy Bonaugure. An Italian, he learned to box while living in Argentina, came to France and was arrested there by the German Army whence he was sent to Auschwitz where he was forced to box for the entertainment of Nazi officers before being murdered in 1943.Featured on the cover of the June 1931The Ringmagazine
