A uniquely surviving pair? The original comic AND its original football gift, featuring Dixie Dean. Dixie Dean also features inside the comic. This card and mag combo dates from September 1931, Dixie Dean and Everton (Dean is inset in the circular frame) with Sunderland, issue number 499 of Boys' Magazine. An historical combination of rare ephemera. It's probably the only surviving pair extant, the mag with its original card, Note: the Everton & Sunderland free gift card has wear, creasing and handling, with a fold between the two teams.
