Jean Baratte, very clean unused card from the 'Le Grands Champions du Sport' series, issued in 1951 by Union Chox.The card is generally superb, a little curl - naturally, from the gloss of the printing - and some barrel (printing-drum) lines across the card, very feint only seen against the light, with one tiny paper fault at the rear top. I am certain it has never been glued down because the back is so very clean but there is a 2mm x 0.5mm fleck of loose paper along the top edge, rear, though no thinning can be seen thus I think it's a very feint paper fault which barely detracts from the beauty of this gem.
